Job Responsibilities as follows:
Maintain over 100 bed Facility
Manage a team of over 10 employees
Compliance ready for Regulatory inspections by the State of New Jersey Joint Commission
Maintained current logs of SDS sheets and various form and logs for NJ State compliance
Input Bi-Weekly Payroll thru the ADP system
Run daily huddles and monthly meetings to go over a what occurred on the previous shifts and what is expected of the for each shift of that day. Addressed any problems that have occurred on the previous shifts
Set achievable goals of improving the facility within the current budgets
Maintain OSHA Regulations and safety procedures
Coordinate and provides for the completion of corrective and preventative Environmental Services of the grounds and building in a timely manner.
Maintain the building and grounds in compliance with Federal, State and local laws.
Maintains required records and reports as outlined in the policies and procedures of the Environmental Services Department.
Participate in budget planning for the Environmental Services Department.
Maintain orders and supplies under budget.
Attend Coordinator meetings and sit on required committees.
Assure that all staff in my department are thoroughly oriented to their job expectations.
Develop a current ledger to be kept on all vendor accounts, outside contractors and technicians by service area, and contact person.
Maintains records of drills and safety training for all employees.
Adheres to all OSHA regulations and safety procedures when bending, lifting and using equipment or chemicals.
Housekeeping staff follows hospital cleaning protocol.
Schedule employees and strictly comply within the labor budget.
Maintain current service contracts, service manuals, and warranty information are properly filed and accessible.
Supplies are ordered on a timely basis and stored in a secure area.
All written key control policy in place and consistently followed.
Informs staff of infection control and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with Artis policy.
Assures that all chemicals are stored and labeled in accordance with Artis policy.
Assures that par levels are developed and maintained always with a written inventory to assure an adequate supply of linens.
Review and evaluate the work performance of assigned personnel according to the established company personnel policy.
Assist in performing housekeeping duties as needed.
Maintain safety of all residents to minimize the potential for fire and accidents.
Make sure employees adhere to the legal, safety, health, fire and sanitation codes and familiar with current MSDS.
Puts Customer Service First; ensuring that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights.
