Objective To learn the recent advancements in Manufacturing Engineering to enhance my analytical and engineering Academic Qualification B-Tech – skills, History implement Board them in my Institute work area and achieve Score a fast track growth. Year of Passing Mechanical
Engineering
VIT University Vellore Institute of
Technology,
Vellore 8.02 CGPA 2018
HSC CBSE Colonel’s Academy, Mhow 80% 2014
SSC KEY ENGINEERING CBSE PROJECTS Colonel’s Academy, Mhow 8.8 CGPA 2012 Brake Pedal
design as per
Baja SAE
standards (2016)
• Designed a light weight brake pedal using Solidworks 2013 and analyzed for characteristics such as deflection and thermal analysis using ANSYS 2014. Followed Baja SAE standards.
• Optimized to maximum for 200N force assuming use in compact/ sub- compact vehicles
• Analysed pros and cons of three different manufacturing materials – iron, aluminium, polyamide glass fibre
• Design impact: Achieved 0.09% weight reduction positively impacting fuel efficiency, cost reduction and improvement in corrosion resistance. Upright design as
per Baja SAE
standards (2017)
• Designed an upright using Solidworks 2013 and analyzed using ANSYS for finding out its factor of safety, and the stresses acting on it.
• In this design it was fairly easy to work out the effect of moving each joint, so the kinematics of the suspension can be tuned easily and wheel motion can be optimized.
• Design impact: Aluminium 7075 came out to be the ideal material to be used as it helped in weight reduction, great machinability and was economical.
Transient
Analysis of
Laminated
Composite
Conical Shell
Panel (2018)
• The transient responses of fiber reinforced composite conical shell panel were examined for different parameters.
• Designed a Conical Shell Panel and did the static analysis using FEM in ANSYS.
• Transient analysis was done using ANSYS Workbench and deflections were found at average height at which an aeroplane travels according to US Standards.
• Design Impact: Using Glass Epoxy the minimum deflections were found out on a conical panel and the effective number of layers and apex angles were decided.
Fabrication of
Box Transport
Mechanism
(2016)
• Designed a mechanism using Grashoff’s rule.
• Fabricated the working model in which small boxes would be transported from one place to another on electric power.
