(BFD’s), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s), Utility Flow Diagrams (UFD’s), Process Safety Diagrams and Hazardous Area Classification drawings. Develop first draft of the P&ID’s using the PFD and other information supplied by the Process Engineers.

Checking of as built PEFSs for the consistency, layers, line numbers, continuity, tag numbers, thickness, etc., PEFS verification as per the site markup

Gather all information from process engineers to update all P&ID’s and PFD’s for final issue.

Prepares manual and CAD drafts of Piping & Instrument and Process Flow Diagram of all Plant systems involving major and minor modification and expansion.

Prepares final drawings by studying engineering piping sketches, specifications, and supporting documents; developing a layout of the piping system, components, and parts; drawing multiple views/isometrics of the piping system, components, identifying piping dimensions, angles, and materials take-off.

Update original drawings (Lurgi drawings) for any modification / revisions done to the existing process.

Prepares layout of O/H Power Line per pole structure type, span length on survey plan and profile drawings.

Perform design / drafting of plant piping layout, plot plan, production drawing such as isometric and spool breakdown all in accordance with Saudi ARAMCO, Saudi Petrochemical Company (SADAP) and Saudi European Petrochemical Company

(IBN ZAHR) engineering design standard.

Prepares piping detail drawing; tie-in schedule, elevation, hydrostatic test diagram and support for large and small bore piping.

Initiates calculations and sketches as required in connection with the design changes and submit for approval.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare detail drawings on pipeline and pipe supports, isometric piping drawings based on customers given plan drawing, spool drawing for fabrication, as-built and sketches of installed piping.

Responsible for follow-up and expediting of piping field materials from project warehouse and piping spools fabricated from lay down area for X-ray/NDT, sand blasting, painting and stocked on job site. Assistance in the allocation of materials for work crews.
