OBJECTIVE

Worked for several years for this group of weekly newspapers and shopping publications. First assignment was to combine two revenue losing publications in Ocala, Florida, into a viable enterprise. This was done within eighteen months as this publication became the number one in ad sales for the group. I was promoted and became publisher at the Zephyrhills News. At this publication, I led a group that won best weekly newspaper two years in a row in addition to doubling ad count and increasing revenue over 75 percent. Several people that I trained were promoted into management positions throughout the company.

First assignment was to increase revenue in the classified advertising department. This was done within six months and so successfully, that I was promoted to circulation director.
