• Process Optimization by implementing Continuous Improvement Tools as well as conducting Time and Motion Studies resulting in scrap reduction by 60% and an annual savings of $80,000.

2. Process Engineering Intern - Elkay Manufacturing - Chicago, IL, USA (May 2017 to November 2017)

• Successful process optimization by developing production standards for Hydraulics and Grinding departments by research & development and updation of manufacturing processes as well as labor utilization.

• Determined minimum stock level of critical tooling parts to reduce machine downtime and achieve maximum machine utilization. Successfully reduced the machine downtime by 40% and increasing machine efficiency 65% to 80% furthermore resulting in financial savings up to $2,500 per machine.

Detailed study of each tooling part utilization and calculating the criticality of each spare by using sequencing thus reducing the machine downtime.

Eliminating product leakages throughout the channel and minimizing the rejection rate by use of pneumatic gates and proximity sensors and other control systems.

3. Designing Procedure & Implementation of a Casting Die for a New Product.

4. Implementation of SMED to Reduce Die Changeover Time.

Overall Effectiveness of Equipment enhancement thus increasing machine readiness. SMED trolley design reducing travelling time and tool acquiring time. Successfully reduced the die changeover time by 45%.
