• On-Going Work - Working on reducing the time gap between 1st Part Production and the 1st Part Quality Inspection by implementing a centralized rack system. This will result in scrap reduction which will result in financial savings.

• Process Optimization by implementing Continuous Improvement Tools as well as conducting Time and Motion Studies resulting in scrap reduction by 60% and an annual savings of $80,000.

• Documentation and Creating Standard Operating Procedure for assembly line leading to reduction in lead time and high productivity.

2. Process Engineering Intern - Elkay Manufacturing - Chicago, IL, USA (May 2017 to November 2017)

• Successful process optimization by developing production standards for Hydraulics and Grinding departments by research & development and updation of manufacturing processes as well as labor utilization.

• Developing production procedures and documents for upcoming phases of the Outdoor Fountain project.

4. Production Engineer – SKF Bearings India Ltd. - Pune, INDIA (December 2013 to June 2014)

• Determined minimum stock level of critical tooling parts to reduce machine downtime and achieve maximum machine utilization. Successfully reduced the machine downtime by 40% and increasing machine efficiency 65% to 80% furthermore resulting in financial savings up to $2,500 per machine.

• Implementation of Kaizen, Kanban & Poka-Yoke in various projects to ensure maximum resource utilization.

5. Production Engineering Intern – VANAZ Engineers Ltd. - Pune, INDIA (June 2012 to December 2012)

• Successfully coordinated the launch of a new product including initial testing and evaluation.

• Standardized the assembly methods for Gas kit assembly to reduce overall assembly time of the production

1. Determination of Minimum Stock Level of Critical Tooling Parts.

Detailed study of each tooling part utilization and calculating the criticality of each spare by using sequencing thus reducing the machine downtime.

2. Green Flow Channel.

Eliminating product leakages throughout the channel and minimizing the rejection rate by use of pneumatic gates and proximity sensors and other control systems.

3. Designing Procedure & Implementation of a Casting Die for a New Product.

Detailed study of entire manufacturing of a cold chamber die casting right from design to initial stage testing. Standard

Operating Procedure for assemblies of 2 products.

4. Implementation of SMED to Reduce Die Changeover Time.

Overall Effectiveness of Equipment enhancement thus increasing machine readiness. SMED trolley design reducing travelling time and tool acquiring time. Successfully reduced the die changeover time by 45%.
