PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Beamlets Selection for Radiation Therapy 03/2018 – 04/2018
• Formulated a mathematical model to determine the intensity of radiation from each beamlet.
• Implemented the model in AMPL and visualized in Maple. A Telecommunications Network Design Problem 10/2017 – 12/2017
• Formulated a mathematical and graphic model to solve the Add-Drop Multiplexer(ADM) selection and Routing in a telecommunications network system.
• Improved the model’s efficiency and eliminated the time-consuming process. Calculated the optimality gap.
Early Stage Pre-diagnose of Chronic Kidney Disease 02/2017 – 04/2017
• Processed data with doing feature selection, finding association rules, making decision tree. Scheduling Low Acuity Patients in Emergency Departments 02/2017 – 04/2017
• Used MATLAB to build an ED model with different queuing rules: FIFO, LPF... based on queuing theory. Found the results of makespan, average waiting time, total waiting time, idle time.
