CAREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS

After appointment as Head of School at Central Christian Academy, spearheaded a Turnaround Project with a Teacher & Staff Development program, leading the school from two consecutive “D” ratings to an “A” rating in just two years, one of only three schools in the state of Indiana to experience this degree of improvement.

Launched East Pointe Church with just eight adults in a living room to a membership of 1,800, with 1,100 average weekly attendance, and an annual budget of 2 million dollars in just 13 years.

As Senior Pastor at East Pointe Church, lead the church through three major building programs and capital gift campaigns totaling $2.5 million dollars.

While Executive Director of Heart of the City Ministries, spoke and conveyed the mission of the ministry, personally raising over $600,000 in five years.

Founder & Executive Director 2005-Present

Heart of the City Ministries Jacksonville, FL

Heart of the City Ministries is a group of four ministries founded in Jacksonville.

Founded this 501c3 non-profit to recruit and train volunteer launch teams to plant three urban churches in the heart of the city during the period of 2005-2015; fundraising has been dormant for the last four years as I have focused on the Central Christian Academy.

Personally raised over $600,000 to assist in the planting of the three churches, which are currently operating.

Head Of School / Director Of Admissions 2014-2018

Central Christian Academy Indianapolis, IN

Central Christian Academy was founded in 1971 as a ministry of the Villa Baptist Church, and it has since become its own entity, and is Accredited by the State of Indiana and a member of the Association of Christian Schools and the Indiana High School Athletic Association.

Increased student enrollment by 43% in the first year by outlining a vision to turnaround the school with better training for teachers and smaller class sizes to give individual attention to students; the increase was the largest increase in school history and the increased student enrolment brought in over $250,000 in new state scholarship money.

Promoted to lead the turnaround of the school from a failing grade of “D” to an impressive “A” rating in just two years, by crafting an intensive Teacher and Staff Development program.

Directed the school through a total reorganization, name change and new incorporation process.

On Campus Professor 2011-2013

Trinity Baptist College Jacksonville, FL

Trinity is a private college with an enrollment of 350 students; it was founded in 1974 by Trinity Baptist Church and has been accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.

Created and developed the course curriculum for Urban Ministry Principles.

Taught History & Principles of Urban Church Ministry and Personal Discipleship.

Leadership Development Director 2011-2013

Simply Church, Inc. Jacksonville, FL

This new church was established in 2011.

Identified and created a strategic plan for all necessary ministry and operational systems for the church as well as recruited and trained the volunteer leaders to operate these systems and processes.

Served assisting the Senior Pastor in administrative duties, and as a Teaching Pastor by teaching and motivating a base of 40 volunteer leaders on a regular basis.

Indy Metro Church Indianapolis, IN

Indy Metro Church is an urban church committed to loving Jesus, loving others and serving the city of Indianapolis; the church has developed a network of faith based organizations, community leaders and school administrators to provide needed services such as meals for kids and other day-to-day activities with schools to engage in transformative relationships.

Relocated a team of eight adults from Jacksonville FL to serve the spiritual and physical needs of the urban residents of downtown Indianapolis.

Recruited and trained a lead team of 40 volunteers to Launch the Indy Metro Church, as well as directed all staff and ministry systems, in addition to overseeing the church budget and finances.

Served as primary teacher and speaker for all main public services.

The East Point Church is a non-denominational church with a Baptist heritage, located in Jacksonville, FL

Lead the church to growth from 8 founding members to a membership of 1,800, with a team of seven full-time pastors and a paid ministry staff of 25.

Recruited and mentored a volunteer ministry work force of 250 members, and oversaw the annual budget which grew to $2 million by 2004.

Relocated the churches facilities to a strategically located 32 acre campus in 1998.
