ARGO Systems, LLC

Started as the Director of Operations to turn around troubled projects and was quickly advanced to the South East Division Director managing the activities of the office, personnel and projects in South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Louisiana. Increased responsibilities included business development in which marketing and sales strategies were expanded to include the private sectors and not just the Defense Department.

Key Achievements:

Designed and implemented the renovations of the Good Samaritan Primary Care Office, with limited working days, resulting in delivery on time and to budget.

Directed the $25Million construction of the Red Lion Hotel; fourteen-story, 198 key out of ground hotel.

Lead the redesign of the $8Million Park Ave Apartments; eleven-story modular apartment.

Executed feasibility studies and evaluated reports for the Foley Nursing Home Executive Board; reports to be used in decision making on whether to purchase a seven-story structure.

Rehabilitated Forest Hills Hospital 5 North patient wing; the project had a reduced duration to completion from 20 weeks to 14 weeks and no increase in funding.

Managed the construction of Jefferson Ferry Maintenance Garage using SIPS in lieu of traditional stick frame construction, to produce a column and beam free interior space.

Directed the design-build of interior offices and the renovation of two floors of medical office space at University Physicians of Brooklyn at SUNY Medical University at Downstate.

Administered feasibility and schematics designs for the renovation of Rochdale Village, a commercial shopping mall to a medical office building and Diabetes Centre of Excellence.

Redesigned, renovated and repaired 213 resident balconies for the Jefferson Ferry Balcony Renovations project where he was honored as Business Partner of the Year.

Performed feasibility and program analysis, and aided in design recommendations, constructability, logistics scheduling, CON application, phasing, budgeting and value engineering for the Winthrop University Hospital Central Sterile Supply and Pharmacy Expansion project.

Oversaw the installation of high-efficiency condenser boilers for the Carlton Regency Condominiums project with a budget of $400,000.

Conducted feasibility and budgeting analysis, for the construction of the Manorville Cancer Treatment Centre, to have a linear accelerator Consulted for DOH compliance for the Medi-Sys Dialysis Center of Queens project.

Executed the renovation of the Southampton Hospital’s existing radiology department, to conform to the standards of DOH Article 28, through the installation of several restrooms, new sprinkler system, exhaust systems, and final filters.

Supervised the functional programming, design, cost analysis and forecasting of various locations for multiple wellness centres and diagnostic facilities, and oversaw constructions of the facilities in identified locations with an estimated budget of $50Million.

Managed the planning and development of 1,155 acres used for the expansion of a four-resort hotel which included 2547 units, 68 room boutique hotel, 18-hole signature golf course, single family residences, townhomes, and condominiums.

Axis Construction

Grew the company’s revenue from $8 million to over $ 50 million, including the design and implementation of information systems, and managed the business development and project execution of operations, systems, standards and policies.

VICE PRESIDENT / PROJECT EXECUTIVE (1999 to 2011)

Directed the Peconic Bay Medical Center Master Planning and ED Expansion project, with a budget of

$28Million, and $7.5Million for the ED expansion.

Supervised and executed the pre-construction, budgeting, phasing and value engineering of the Southampton Hospital ED expansion.

Consulted for the construction of the Interfaith Medical Centre, East Building project, a five-story building to house Medical Laboratories, Information Technology, Human Resources, Finances, AR/AP, Procurement, Billing and Clinical Outpatient Services.

Directed the renovation of the Trident Missile Factory, to state of the art ambulatory chemotherapy centre at Monter Cancer Center: Center for Advance Medicine.

Oversaw the Southampton Hospital OB-GYN Labor and Delivery Suite project, which entailed pre- construction, phasing, budgeting and infrastructure upgrade.

Managed the $50Million mechanical upgrades, elevator rehabilitation, $120Million repair of exterior façade and replacement of roof sand windows, for the Health and Hospitals Corporation Coler- Goldwater Memorial Hospitals. Renovated the existing radiology suite and created a new MRI and CT scan suite for Hampton Bay Atrium Radiology Center.

Administered the facility expansions and upgrades at Winthrop University Hospital adding a second floor structurally capable supporting two additional floors.

Supervised the North-Shore Long Island Jewish Health Systems Cardiac Center renovations creating temporary office space and recovery room as the project went on.
