PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

QUALCOMM, San Diego Jan 2018-Present

RF PRODUCT AND TEST ENGINEER

Currently, working on the Low Noise Amplifier (RF Front End mm-wave) 5G project.

In the Low noise amplifier, my responsibilities are to check the Linearity (IIP3ACS), Noise Figure (SSNF), S-Parameters (small signal gain), Jammer Detector (to check how the signal is behaving in presence of surrounding frequencies), Noise Figure with Jammer (to check NF by sweeping the range of powers), OOB (Out of band) small signal and Noise figure test, Survivability and Ruggedness.

To work on settings of IIP3ACS and Gain that is also called as matching. Also, to work on gain settling.

To work on register sweep for better linearity.

To work on device calibration (to avoid part to part variations), Sleep current measurement.

To measure Out to Out isolation.

Also correlate all the data with ATE (Automatic Test Equipment).

To do Cpk analysis and also create spreadsheet and make it ready for the customer.

To work on UHB and HB frequencies.

For all the measurements we use the LabView software. To measure S-Parameters we use Q-best program and to measure Gain and Linearity we use Test Executive program.

To work on Network Analyzer (PNA-X), Spectrum Analyzer (PX-A), VCO, Power meter, Power Amplifier, use multiple filters to check the performance of LNA on jammer frequencies.

NETSCOUT-Berkeley California May 2017- Dec 2017

RF Engineer-I

Analyze the CW test result using JDSU (E6474-A) RF optimization software, Street Atlas, and Map Info.

Working and Testing on Verizon frequencies (746-757 MHz, basically band 700 and AWS).

Analyze the drive test to find path loss between 700 MHz frequency and PCS band.

Uses CDMA pilot Analyzer to collect PN code for CDMA technology. Also we use WCDMA/UMTS scrambling code analyzer.

Uses DMI (Distance Measurement Instrument), IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), PCS, GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System), and GAMS control to collect the data in Dense Urban area.

Analyze the data in true path data base and see the power loss and lee average between band 700 MHz frequency band and AWS band.

Also checking the spectrum flow on spectrum analyzer for Verizon and AT&T frequencies.

VERVEBA TELECOM- Dallas, Texas Jan 2017- May 2017

RF Engineer

Deployment, Analysis and troubleshooting of WCS band (LTE carrier) for AT&T.

Working for AT&T’s First Net project on behalf of Verveba Telecom LLC for their PIM issue.

Leading back office Engineers with quality protocols and Root Cause Investigation for AT&T’s PIM project.

Risk Management for possible interference between AT&T’s B14 and B17, deducing key input parameters from C&E matrix.

Rating all parameters in terms of severity, occurrence, detection to deduce PIM index.

Using Map Info, Google Earth Pro, CDRFDS data from AT&T server to crate end to end reports for AT&T’s PIM Project

TATA COMMUNICATIONS Ltd, Mumbai, India May 2013-July 2014

RF Engineer

Optimized, analyzed and improved performance of GSM/CDMA network per client specification.

Troubleshooting and problem resolution of elusive customer network difficulties.

Monitored and anatomized statistical and test data to enrich system performance needle such as dropped calls, blocked calls.

Designed greater efficiency wireless system for firm using GSM.

Worked in a 24x7 telecommunication industry environment.

Electrical Engineer Intern at Air India June 2012- August 2012

Worked in an Accessories Overhaul Division of Engineering Department.

During this training period I had given assistance while working on planes such as B747-400, B777-200LR, B777-300ER, B737-800 and A310-300 Avionics Units Division.

Learned about radars and various generations of propellers and their working in the advanced aircrafts

Assisted Engineers in testing aircraft.
