JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Supplement Site safety inspections & relevant safety training at the job sites.

Report safety status of sites to HOD.

Investigate all fatal accidents & danger occurrences & recommend the preventive actions at site.

Analyze all the serious accidents & suggest preventive measures through exchanging experiences.

Prepare site safety plan at the initial stage of such job sites.

Monitor all safety activities & coordinate with clients.

Organize campaigns competitions and other special emphasis programs to promote safety at workplace.

Impart safety orientation to fresh trainee engineers & new joiners so as to enable him discharge his responsibilities successfully.

Notify site personnel’s nonconformance to safety norms observed during site visits/ site inspections.

Recommend to site in charges immediate discontinuance of work till rectification of such situations warranting immediate actions in view of imminent danger to life / property/ environment.

Decline acceptance of such PPE / safety equipment that do not conform to specifies requirements.

Preparation of EHS plan & procedures

Conducting EHS Training programs for Engineers and supervisors of contractors in Hazard identification, Scaffolding awareness, electrical safety, Fire prevention and fall protection.

EHS induction and training of Employees.

Fire fighting procedures and conducting periodical Training.

Material entry and Exit procedures in the project site.

Conduction safety Meeting with client and work force regularly.

Conducting EHS inspection at camps to focus on health and hygiene
