Manpower Planning and Recruitment:

Finalize the Manpower requirements with operational and functional heads, ensure/coordinate in the orientation program for all the newly joined persons. Manpower Supply Contractors to get contract employees to support smooth operations. Engagement of technical trainees in fixed terms tenure basis & continuous monitoring of their performance.

Compensation / Benefits :

Process of fixing remuneration based on Budget and approval for new recruiters, implement annual merit increase process based on the individual and functional performance in line with approval. Accomplish necessary insurance, gratuity, leave encashment. Having exposure on union wage settlement compensation calculation and implement the other related benefits as agreed in the Long Term Settlement.

Human Resource Management Activities:

Co coordinating HR Process from recruitment to exit. Provide guidance, assistance and leadership to HR team personnel by motivating. Identify the training needs based on the recommendation from the functional heads through performance appraisal and arrive the training matrix. Coordinate with technical functional head to arrive skill matrix of the employees and addressed the gap.

Industrial Relations :

Coordinate and negotiate with unions to resolve welfare requirements to improve industrial harmony in the establishment; Maintaining harmonious Industrial Relations and promote constructive relationship with the Union; Discouraging traditional union activities; Educating the Union Office bearers, members continuously on the business environment, best practices and areas for improvements to facilitate them to become change agents. Work council meetings – very effectively organized the same. This helps us to execute our Targets without any major issues, plan for next week and the same will be agreed and signed by both Management and Workers representatives. Carryout salary / wage survey, coordinate to make proposal to the Management for LTS. Coordinate, drive and participate with various committees like, Safety, 5S, canteen, transportation, OTC team. Carryout training program on shop-floor discipline to the supervisors to understand the shop-floor activities.

Implementation of System and Procedures :

Contribution towards complete of ISI 14000 audit and contribution towards internal audit viz., PWC,KPMG. Coordinate and contribution to frame Safety and Environmental Policy and Occupational Health Policy. Initiate the process of Job Description for each employees and positions to get talent people.
