When there is a problem with a part or a delay on the project, gather all facts and suggested corrective action to fix the Problem, and then contact the end user to let them of the problem to discuss resolution.

Supplier Relationship

Ability to develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and maintaining a good relationship

The Supplier is the bread & butter therefore contact with them is vital -- by phone and e-mail, with follow up calls twice a week and a confirming e-mail for back up.

Resolving Problems

Quick turnaround to the Supplier saves time and money -- whatever is needed: a drawing, missing change notice, copy of a PO or an invoice problem -- the faster that problem is resolved will help make the projected on-dock date.
