AS A TECHNICIAN

I was able to perform the following process as part of my responsibilities were: Inspect, assemble, disassemble, dismantle, evaluate, calibrate, test, adjust, diagnose and solve problems in the machine systems such as: engines, implements, transmission (mechanics), torque converter, direction, steering, brakes, differentials, final drives, and air conditioner. Provide guidelines to service personnel in solving technical problems. Provide explanation to service group of technical process and procedures, while actively developing process efficiency according to guidelines, KPI’s and updated information. Share expertise in technical solutions by actively developing servicemen and service management in best practice repair and maintenance process Provide recommendations for enhancement of technician skills and composition of direct service workforce (ratio of mechanics, technicians and master technicians). Supervision and control of maintenance activity and equipment performance data. Directly accountable for a team of national & expatriate staff. Plan and evaluate the implementation of manpower development, identify and recommend subordinate development according to competency needed. Supervise and control all field and shop maintenance and health activities to meet benchmark quality standards

Supervise and control the process of breakdown diagnosis to optimize accurate troubleshooting.

Control the preparation and implementation of the maintenance plan, assess safety and risk of jobs and determine task priorities according to available resources. Develop medium to long-term component and piece part forecasts to ensure parts and logistics requirements are met.

AS A PRINCIPAL ADVISOR IN RELIABILITY ENGINEERING

My role was analyze and supervise all the standards, contamination control and condition monitoring processes of equipment maintenance with the object to anticipate premature failures, contributing the reliability increase through procedure’s recommendations for the maintenance repairs, warehouse parts/components storage and transportation to and from site, according to certification standards, technical specifications, contractual, standards and manufacturer’s protocols of IIASA Panamá.
