Job Responsibilities:

Welding quality control:

Supervision of quality activity in shop floor for fabrication of steam turbine,heat exchanger and centrifugal compressor component.

Conducting external inspection of heat exchanger inspecting tube sheet thichkness & tube sheet diameter.

Conducting ndt inspection for finished welding of nozzles,shell,tube expansion & baffles.

Inspection of pipe Outside and inside diameter,baffle spacing & tube bundle inspection as per the desgin requirements.

Monitoring the welders and various welding process (MMA,SAW,TIG,GMAW & OXY-Fuel cutting process).

Conduct all stage-wise Inspection as per approved QCP/ITP with client,owner & third party..

To conduct and evaluate non-destructive testing (RT,UT,MPT & VT) of weld joints as per ASME section VIII acceptance standards..

Making necessary record of visual inspection, fit up inspection, welding clearance, welding inspection, NDT inspection records.

Submitting daily inspection report. Making record of drawing, Materials tested etc.

Got through knowledge of steam turbines capacity 220MW, gas turbines capacity 110MW manufacturing..
