Facility produces plastic floats for gas tanks for Chrysler, GM, and Ford.

Equipment includes 50 to 200 ton vertical injection machines.

Materials worked with include polypropylene and other thermo plastic resins.

Time allocation was mostly spent on testing and charting due to the sensitive requirements of these parts.

Responsible for the quality of 30 horizontal injection presses.

This included, but was not limited to several different types of gauging and testing.

SPC charts were kept on all testing and computer generated test data was sent to customers.

Facility produces e-coat and powder coat for just about anything metal

Equipment includes 15 stage e-coat and various style powder coat systems.

Materials worked with include coating numerous types of ferris and non-ferris metals.

Time allocation was initially testing and promoted to quality supervisor and finally Quality Manger.

Promoted to Quality Manager of sister plant and solely responsible for attaining the Q-1 from Ford Motor Company.

This included all FMEA’s, Control Plans; DOE’s required to attain this certification.

Several aspects of chemical testing were involved in these processes.
