Duties:
Carry out all QC/Inspection functions on BOGT crude oil tank rehabilitations process in compliance with approved standards (ASNT, API, DEP(shell standard of quality))
Adequately reports to Project Engineer through the CSR every change request and cordinate inputs making sure they are adequately discussed and closed out during technical and progress meetings.
Investigates and resolves Corrective Action Reports (CAR’s) as assigned.
Carries out Receiving Inspection on materials, which might include the review of the accompanying MTR (Material Test Report) and comparing same with the DBI (Data Base Information) to determine other relevant information such as the dimension specifications, measurements and tests required to ensure quality and SPDC satisfaction.
Ensure that only appropriate monitoring and measuring devices are used in accordance with their measurement capability. To also ensure that measuring uncertainty, limitations or restrictions regarding usage are identified on each device,
Ensure that proactive action is taken to recalibrate all monitoring and measuring devices before their due date and maintain the calibration records throughout the life of each device
Supervises fabrication processes in line with approved standard and drawings
Ensure establishment and proper implementation of adequate control processes within the Contractor, as stipulated in the Project Plan and the Project Quality Plan
Review Contractor’s quality audit schedule, monitor Contractor’s audit program, and participate in selected audits
Manages multiple interfaces to achieve timely delivery while minimizing potentials for contractor downtime and claims
Promote safety within area of cover and take part in the daily tool box meetings.

Duties:
Tank Integrity Inspection
i.Full external visual inspection according to check list.
ii.Prepares inspection reports to indicate nature of repairs and replacements required and to specify safe limits of temperature and pressure to follow pending repair of unit.
iii.Recommendation for Storage tank required repair actions
iv.Follow up and approve action items close out by the maintenance sections, operations and engineering and project teams.
v.Tank full internal/external inspection, rehabilitations condition survey inspections.
vi.Tank hydrotest after major repairs.

i.Total visual inspection of all pipelines and piping within BNAG, new and old fuel gas plant.
ii.Take baseline wall thickness measurement by conducting Ultrasonic measurement of pipeline and in-plot piping within the terminal of all vessels.
iii.Issue the required action items and follow up and approve its close-out.
