OBJECTIVE
I have been with my company for 22 years, with numerous tasks in multiple departments. I began my journey into Human Resources to become a dependable source of a team to communicate to and from employer to employee, for a productive and successful future. As part of a team that relies on a multitude of services and methods, I have a great deal of personal integrity to carry out any task that leads to success in recruitment, planning, training, and any area that is needed. As an employee of Boone Hy-Vee through 6 store directors, I have taken personal interest in management styles of everyone, learning different aspects of management techniques and the effects they have in a real-world scenario.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
I started my career at Hy-Vee in Boone in 1996 and have spent those years in a variety of positions. Within a short period of time I was trained in ordering, scheduling, team management, and managed tasks that required fast decision making. I have received training and worked with product management in inventory control, product ordering, vendor detail, office organization, and time management. I was selected to teach a course in the Hy-Vee Fundamentals that consisted of 3 days of training at our corporate office and to train employees in teams at our local store in 2009. This consisted of the use of training materials and developing a strategy of communicating joint goals of the organization in alignment with staff. I successfully handle time management, as an individual and as part of team, and am very fast paced in learning. I am eager and willing to be a positive influence and take on various tasks. As the first store director of my current job once told me, “Enjoy your job and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Successful design and organization of Boone Area “Business After 5” meeting during 2010. Responsible for a gathering of local businesses and numerous vendors.
One of four team members for Hy-Vee Fundamentals Training Group in 2009.
Assisted in Farm Progress event Boone Area every year since start in 2008, which is the largest outdoor agricultural exhibit in the United States with roughly 150,000 visitors on average, during its three days.
