• Searched best reaction conditions for synthesizing 3-Cyclohexene-1-methanol-6-methyl methacrylate.

Optimal catalyst and its amount, reaction time, reactant ratio, polymerization inhibitor and its amount, and their best combination to get highest yield of products

• Built a reactive distillation plants coupled with vacuum distillation devices, separated products, by-products

• Tested repeatability of optimistic catalyst, recording its recycling time vs its performance

• Analyzed product’s & byproducts’ purity by GS, characterized product by 1H-NMR, calculated products’ yield

• Created and developed chemical process and plants of producing 14 types of esters, drew chemical process flow diagrams using AutoCAD

• Collaborated work to analyze period of recovering cost of replacing Dimersol process by Difasol process.

• Created new concepts of Period of Cost Recovery and Period of Equal Benefits to solve cost recovery period problem

“Longteng Cup” Experimental Skill Contest Nov.2013

• Led a team of three to design Depropanization Distillation Devices. Designed process framework with lowest energy consumption.

• Performed process simulation on Aspen. Examined reliability of simulation results. Determined column stages, determined plane column/pump/heat exchanger parameters.

• Conducted simulation and animation of plant’s startup/shutdown on Yokogawa CS 3000 system by setting parameters
