As a QA Lead worked on BEM/Investran Projects. The Business Event Manager (BEM) is a centralized web-based Workflow Manager that supports IFC equity-based accounting transactions. BEM associates a business event with an equity transaction, facilitates processing of the transaction using the straight-through-process (STP), and posts the related accounting entry to the Investran General Ledger (GL). The system ensures front office equity trade transactions entered by the Investment Officers (IO) automatically flow to Investran seamlessly, are processed correctly and the respective accounting entries are posted to the Investran general ledger accurately. This project focuses on upgrading the current BEM/Investran application to the latest release of Investran (7.0). This upgrade will ensure IFC continues to be received maintenance and support from the Investran vendor, SunGard.
