To pursue career as a machine shop Craftsman/Manager, for a manufacturing firm using my skills and experiences acquired as a Toolmaker, Mold Maker, Tool/ Cutter Grinder and a student of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Technology
SUMMARY OF SKILLS
I have diversified skills acquired overtime in different European countries, Canada and the United States of America.
Experienced in setting up most Manual Tool-Room machines to perform operations in the quickest and most economical manner. NC training on Hiller 200 vertical machining center controlled by General Automation, Spectrum 30 Controller. Also, Bridgeport ez-track operating program.
Proficient on Cincinnati #2, Monoset, Deckel and Optima grinders to design custom cutting tools, gages, jigs and fixtures.
Mold Shop exposure in building new and repairing injection molds, mold standards, mold assembly, mold designs, mold drawings and mold hot runner systems including Mold Master and Husky brands.
R&D exposure, including injection mold testing, material testing, sampling new molds, producing mold-test and specification sheets/reports prior to mold production release.
Implementation, maintenance and management of large Tool crib inventory, control and order processing. Development and maintenance of Tool Crib software and data base intended to monitor tool flow/usage and reduction in tooling cost.
Develop a network of Vendors and Technical Support groups to assist as needed.
Assisting and training machine operators on setting up machines, choosing proper tooling, speeds and feeds for machining Titanium alloys, Nickel based alloys and other biocompatible materials.
Some of the products included are medical screws, dental implants, aerospace components. Communication industries.
