Notable Accomplishments
•Transformed all aspects of Manufacturing Operations, Product Engineering as well as Product Design and development in the furniture, fixtures and sheet metal industries throughout Canada, U.S., Europe and the Middle East.
•Revitalized under-performing operations, transforming them into profitable and/or attractive acquisition targets by improving material and product flow while increasing manufacturing and management efficiencies.
•Quadrupled throughput and minimized inventories to 20% of their original volume, for a kitchen furniture manufacturer by instituting production control systems and maximizing machining and assembly efficiencies.
•Grew a company with 2 metal plants, 1 wood plant and a small distribution center, with
$70M in sales, in a total of 500,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and less than 500
employees to a thriving $420M corporation with multi plant 1,750,000 sq. ft. facilities and slightly more than 1200 employees, all within the first 42 months while the Stock Market share value rose from $4.95 to $17.25 per share, during the same period.
•Designed, Developed, Researched, Negotiated, Acquired and fully Implemented in 1993 the most advanced flat finishing system in NA to-date, encompassing 4 separate / different type of application systems, that were simultaneously redirected on-call into 4 different types of drying methodologies, as specified electronically at the time of loading.
•Designed, Developed, Researched, Negotiated, Acquired and Implemented in 1994 the most advanced ‘Power and Free’ Powder coating system anywhere, with capabilities to apply 5 different Powder colors simultaneously, directing them through different application and curing systems and temperatures as required, capable of coating over 10000 metal shelves per day.
•Winner of seven (7) International Furniture Design Awards, during a period of 6 years, when consulted to a wide range of companies overseas, offering them complete Product Design services from 'concept to completion' which included building the facilities to manufacture those products in the most efficient and profitable environment.
•Revitalized a company with a sales volume of $23M in 2008 to sales, over $100M in 2015
•Negotiated contracts with the Carpenters Union, Steelworkers of America and the UAW.
•Held full P&L Accountability for the total manufacturing and operations budgets.
•Built high-performance teams comprised of plant managers, engineers and other supervisory personnel, Mentored, Coached and Trained them in the latest, most advanced manufacturing techniques and technologies.
•Doubled capacity, sales volume and profitability through the introduction of new technologies in sheet metal and custom metal fabrication plants, while maintaining the same amount of human resources.
•Spearheaded several start-up initiatives for new plants and distribution-centers and building a client base from the ground up.
•Accommodated increased capacity by redeveloping existing layouts for maximum efficiency, while upgrading, expanding and maintaining all facilities.
•Led new product design and development initiatives as well as product engineering and method improvements, including introduction of most advanced manufacturing control systems ERP.

•Grew retail business by implementing marketing and sales programs and promoting company image.

•Instrumental in the development of the ‘Neils Diffrient Chair’, a seating grouping by Knoll International, found since at all American Airlines Airport Terminals.
•Piloted and totally Re-engineered the company’s 2 main product lines for improved quality, efficiency and profitability for a High-end Architectural Millwork manufacturing company, building complete stores for ‘Tiffany’s’, ‘Louis Vuitton’ ‘Christian Dior’ and ‘Harry Winston’ to name a few.
•Optimized warehouse capacity by 330%, through re-engineering its layout, acquiring a custom Turret truck to operate within its 6’aisles, all in the same floor space it used prior.
