Construction Project Engineer- Responsible for total contract & project management, along with safety compliance; managed multiple projects and ensured that projects were completed on time, within budget and in a safe manner. Projects were half funded by the Federal Government. I was the main point of contact and directly managed, large-scale urban projects, which included the scheduling and management of over 25 subcontractors/vendors; performed audits and updated the project schedule. I performed monthly estimates, maintained As-Built Drawings, estimated & negotiated change orders, performed safety inspections, and made field changes to the contract. Ensured compliance with regulatory agencies such as FEPA, GEPD, NPDES, OSHA.

2003-2006 KAHN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY

Estimator/Site Manager- Responsible for estimating projects for award. I worked for Kahn as an estimator and site engineer. I answered RFIs, updated the project schedule, processed submittals to/and from Designers, and maintained As-Built Drawings. I was instrumental in the construction of the VC Summer Nuclear Station, which included reinforced concrete structures and adhering to nuclear safety, codes & standards; identified and reported safety hazards.
