Process Engineer: 8/2014 to 2 July 2018

Primary Responsibilities included: Project Management & Process Engineers tasks for Butte’s core manufacturing process, e.g. (Management of Change, Implement and maintain project cost controls on a variety of chemical manufacturing plant projects, i.e. (Providing Scope including develop performance & quality measures, work packages & resource plans, and scheduling Gantts).

• Primary tasks included coordinating Butte’s project portfolio work for the Project Management Office (PMO). Worked with project managers coordinating their projects within SAP’s PPM module.

• Additional work included, Project Managing – Primarily REC’s Research & Technology Department Group focusing on various research, quality, and cost reducing initiatives, e.g. (Gas feed purification – implemented Point-of-Use molecular sieves and optimizing product form factor – bend, bow, and ellipticity).

• Hired to assist PhD with REC’s new product development (Higher order Silane derivatives)

• Provided assistance in product realization of the new product demonstrated. Task included bench scale, pilot scale, and demonstration plant. The demonstration plant is an autonomous system with an inherently safe design. Developed experimental test plans, designs - analyzed results and reported findings.

• Extensive testing and evaluating poly-silicon technologies, e.g. (Continuous improvement derived, targeting quality and quantity improvements).
