Project Description: Upon entering the system the initial structure of the screen is created but prior to creating the navigation bar and home page the login screen should be displayed. Upon successful login the remainder of the initial screen will be displayed based upon the user’s permissions. The user’s password needs to be changed or administered under certain circumstances - and could be for the purpose of creating as per the user requirements and updating as per the administrator’s desire to reset the password of the customer user.

Role/Job Responsibilities:

Analysis and comprehension of the intricate business requirements and use case details for check management service through interaction with business analysts;

Analyzed and developed class diagrams, state diagrams, interaction diagrams and activity diagrams using UML notation on Rational Rose and identified the design pattern to develop the Business activity classes, the GUI classes and the business object classes. Documented all the above mentioned details in Systems Internal Specifications document;

Involved in heavy code development for the Java client, utilizing the Borland JBuilder (Enterprise Edition) IDE, building the GUI Screens using intuitive custom built Swing and AWT components as required by the functional specifications and code for event handling mechanism as per the use cases; and worked on the summary and reports activities rendering the summary data for check management with user customizable environment settings for the data display and generate custom reports – detailed or summary report depending on user selection.

Involved in Code documentation and Power Presentation of module code in technical review meetings, using object diagrams.

Utilization of Code Management Tools and QA Tools (Vantive);

Developed test plans, test documents for evaluating test results.

Integration testing with the Application Server, involving extensive use-case testing in order to launch the Module successfully. Worked with Oracle databases, during the testing process;

Flawless performance testing of the application to enable on-time product delivery to the customer involved interaction with the Quality Assurance team and the Business Analyst;
