Quality Assurance of the newly implemented features in the Helios Set top

box for different countries like Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and

Hungary. Also implemented automated test framework to drive test

automation goals to support continuous integration and regression testing

Project Description

This project provides the platform for the channels published by the

DirecTV to respective customers on subscription basis. It streams Local

TV channels that a customer is subscribed to on a mobile device (iPad,

iPhone, Android mobile, Android Tablet) or PC/Mac. Identification of the

customer's current location would play key role in serving the authorized

local channel for viewing. The guide listing, search and discovery of all

local channels shall be through DIRECTV's Guide Service, but the stream

source however shall vary depending on the Network. Local channels from

the Networks like ESPN, ABC/Disney, FOX, NBC have been considered for

streaming.
