Director of Revenue Management IT 2013 - 2018
Oversaw mission-critical production systems, established enterprise architecture standards, technologies and
approaches, and built and supervised development teams.
Designed and developed Hilton Hospitality API, consisting of RESTful Web-based services, implementing
with Java, Couchbase, Aurora, and Kafka.
Created Developer Portal, a web-based documentation site, that allows users understanding of Hilton's
API calls, including "Try It Out" feature that interacts with Hilton's test environment, developing
downloadable tutorials that call API, using various frameworks.
Established corporate Java coding standards, improving software maintenance and consistency.
Built development team of 20+ staff (SCRUM Master, UI designers, developers, DBA), replacing Property
Management System, a PC-based application that ran at hotels with REST-based application, using
Atlassian tools, and enabling Kanban Agile process.
Transitioned support of existing revenue systems from development team to IT "Build Support"
organization, including hiring technical resources, participating in external systems audit, uncovering

Developed Java-based threaded socket server, using concurrent messaging for routing calls between
