Served my apprenticeship as a toolmaker after high school and received certificate of completion of 8,000 hours worked. I worked on building and repairing progressive dies.

1983-1986

TOOLMAKER, Union Manufacturing co. Merdien, ct/ juarez, mexico

I was a supervisor of die repair machinery in both Meriden and Mexico. Responsible for 5 toolmakers and 10 machine operators’ daily functions as well.

1986-1995

I help build and repair plastic injection molds. I was also responsible for maintaining all support equipment.

1995-2008

TOOLMAKER, cOwens Illinois north riverside ill Bridgeport, ct

I was a supervisor of 5 toolmakers repairing and building plastic injection molds. I setup and maintain a preventive mold maintenance system on 90 molds and responsible for changeovers while keeping a cavitation level of 90% and above. Maintain a spare comport repair or order replacements for molds and hot runner manifolds.

Studied 4 years of Machine tool and successfully graduated with high honors. I took a post grad course in tool & die making and welding at night also achieved high honors.
