d. Check specs and assist paint submittals and/or matching existing colors.

e. Sets tentative start dates, initiates the work and sets the pace.

f. Physically walk each job to see firsthand and check job status.

g. Oversee the ordering of materials and equipment.

h. Projection of manpower and strategically place manpower.

I. Verify the stage and status of each open account.

Work in Progress: (Weekly meeting)

a. Assigns each job and give a copy of job file and plans to foreman and painters.

b. Before, during and after each project receive pictures and communicates with foreman, and painters.

c. Assist in supplying appropriate manpower for each job.

d. Assist with the purchase of materials and sundries.

e. Check proper progression of each job (job walks)

f. Establish a relationship and communication with Clients, Owners, Contractor's, Subs and Vendors.

g. Perform physical labor and anything else to insure company forecast and completion.

h. Be informed of all phases of preparation, material application and cleanup.

Weekly Paperwork: (Weekly meeting)

a. Receives time cards, approve hours and completes payroll for the Paint department

b. Check for mistakes and correct information.

c. Fax to office in a timely fashion for processing.

d. Review expense reports.

e. Process and review Change Order/Extra Work Orders and Daily time and Material logs.

f. Review invoicing for proper pricing and submit to accounts payable.

Job Safety: (Weekly meeting)

a. Review Tailgate meeting sign-off sheets.

b. Train employees to use safety equipment properly.

c. Review safety sheets.

d. Hold Bi-annual safety and boom certification meetings.

e. Know OSHA program safety manual

f. Know accident procedure manual

Job Costing:

a. Verify that paint supplier is providing correct pricing.

b. Material and labor costs (request Job Cost and Detail sheets from administration).

c. Knowledge of rental costs of all equipment used.

d. Making sure paint and supplies are available and are not over ordered. Knowledge of rental costs of all equipment used.

e. Check and authorize expense reports and mileage logs.

f. Checking PO logs and confers with Rep when needed.

g. Require Paint Reps. to bid for work (best price possible).

h. Review Custom Job Status reports from administration to check for any discrepancies.

i. Knowledge of all rentals cost.

j. Making sure paint and supplies are available and are not over ordered.

k. Check and authorize expense reports and mileage logs.

l. Require Paint Reps. to bid for work (best price possible).

m. Review Customer Job Status reports from administration to check for any discrepancies.

Job Close-Out:

a. Job Completion Sign-off to be filled out and signed by client.

b. General contractors and/or customers "punch list" signed off.

c. Touch-up paint given to and signed for by GC and/or customer.

d. Foreman evaluation sheet filled out and signed and forwarded to be processed.

e. Follow up on the follow up.

Product Updates:

a. Keep apprised of changes in materials and applications.

b. Insure updated technical knowledge, trade practices and new materials and applications are transferred to all men.

Training:

a. Train foremen and painters in all areas to complete job as required.

b. Train foremen and painters in safety and manual.

c. Insure all jobs are finished in a timely manner, and completed 100%.

d. Maintain excellent communication with the estimator, project manager, foremen, and painter during job for questions and keeping track of paperwork.
