Duties and Responsibilities

Inspection and testing activities as per the ITP & QAP.

Conduct and monitoring the PQR, WPS & WQT activities.

Material inspection and test certificate verification.

Receiving and monitoring of welding consumables, welding and weld visual inspection, as per WPS and ITP.

To study the isometric drawing received from the clients and to identify the pipe lines and carry out the inspection work.

Preparation of weld map and maintaining the weld record.

To check the fit up stage prior and confirm that root gap, off set, bevel angle are within acceptable limit.

Preparation of RT selection list for the Daily Radiography works.

Witness in PT, HARDNESS TEST, RFET, NDT, PMI, UT Thickness Gauging.

To witness preheating process, PWHT and verify the chart.

Preparation of Test pack, Mechanical completion, Dossier and submit to the higher authorities

To Carry out Line punching during the Test pack internal witness of Hydro & Pneumatic tests on Packages and assistance for the reports preparation.

As built drawing preparation for modification works.

Co-ordination with civil/ construction departments for testing/ backfilling activities

Co-ordination with painting department for performing wrapping/ coating, holiday test, DFT and maintaining QC reports.

Monitoring the calibration of test instruments and equipment’s.

Maintaining of all inspection report and related documents in QA/QC department preparations of DWR, DPR and maintain quality records.

Co-coordinating with main contractor, third party and client.

Conduct all worker activities in the safe and environmental policies and procedure.
