Gather all information necessary to process work papers to present to a third party processor for personal property taxes which include fixed assets, supplies, drop boxes and leases. This information comes from the SAP and Oracle accounting systems. Process monthly journal entries for all DHL entities nationwide including DHL Information Services, DHL Express, Global Mail, and DHL Global Forwarding (approximately 1500 sites). Perform monthly reconciliations to balance financial transactions and present to corporate officers for each entity utilizing Excel spreadsheets. Process personal property tax bills according to the different due dates for each state. After six months with the company took on additional duties with processing business licenses for each site location for each DHL entity, either through annual renewals or set up of new locations. Due to each city or state jurisdiction requiring various information to renew or set up, good customer service is a must to acquire the information needed. I work well with others which include general managers, accountants, governmental agencies and various accounting tools to accomplish the tasks at hand. As part of my responsibilities, I scan and file electronically all work papers, personal property assessments, personal property tax bills and business licenses to our EShare system which can be accessed by accountants and officers of the company.
