Core Skills:
I have used non-linear editor programs, Final Cut Pro 7, Canopus Edius 4.0, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Premiere CC and Avid Newscutter. As well as Adobe Photoshop. I am also familiar with linear editing. I have storm chased for KOCO. I have used DVC Pro, P2 format cameras and Sony XDCam X320 and X180s. I am also Skilled at editing SOT/VO and packages (including sweeps pieces and Nat Pacs). Editing in the field and using file transfer protocols and Oasis. I have used TVU backpacks and streamed live video from news units for weather and breaking news with dash cams and air cards. I am a skilled ENG coordinator and operator. I am familiar with lighting techniques and interview setup. I have also provided daily traffic updates in Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas.

At KDAF I am responsible for the breaking news content for the syndicated program Morning Dose. This involves being on scene during high pressure breaking news around the Dallas and Fort Worth area. Interfacing with local Law Enforcement and Fire Departments on scene. News gathering for producers while shooting video and coordinating with editors and other staff members to send back video and interviews while in the field. KOCO Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
June 2014 - June 2018
My responsibilities were similar to the last two positions, however I have learned operation of MEPS live trucks, and it has been expanded to operating the TROLL transmitter in a Bell Long Ranger equipped with a GSS camera controlled by a Ikegami control board. I am tasked with setting up live shots each and every morning making the scene move and working with my reporter to make our shots active.

From 2008-2009 I was a Production Assistant/Editor. My job responsibilities were editing local raw video and national packages, VO's and SOT's, running cameras for the morning shows and other programs in the studio, among other job functions. From 2009-2011 I became an on scene reporter, photographic journalist and ENG operator. My responsibilities in this position included photographing breaking news and reporter packages, VO's, coordinating interviews when not tasked with a reporter.
