Ensure availability of valid work permit along-with JSA, and other needful documents at the working site.
Following ‘Permit-to-Work 'systems strictly at working sites and explain the importance of the same to the workers.
Ensure that all employees have been undergone Safety Induction training and EOD awareness before they assigned in the working site.
Installation of the needful safety signage’s, posters and emergency contact numbers at appropriate locations.
Ensure availability and inspection of PPE of workers – Safety shoes, hard hats goggles, gloves and full safety harness, apron, face shield, dust masks etc.
Ensure availability of asbestos free fire blankets and portable shelters with the needful arrangement for pipe welders.
Safety instructions and supervision on Cutting, grinding, welding and Electrical works.
Provision of Assembly point/ safe location/designated smoking area/portable toilet etc. with site supervisors.
Find out the unsafe act and unsafe condition on the working site by routine inspection with site supervisor and rectify the same properly.
Ensure competent workers are available for job and availability of their training passports.
Ensure availability of valid third party certificates for all cranes their lifting appliances and ensure their fitness through physical checkup.
Provide special awareness trainings for all crane and equipment operators regarding existing facilities and overhead live lines.
Ensure availability of first aid kits, cool drinking water, stand-by vehicle and emergency vehicle at the working site.
Ensure availability of all safety requirements according to KOC Fire & Safety regulations and HSEMS procedures in the working site to provide a safe and healthful work place as well as to conserve human resources for all employees.
