Responsible for licensing new memory care unit including working on policies and procedures, forms,

Directed the operations of the statewide association for assisted living communities in Indiana.


Served on the committee for major revision and updates to the Indiana Residential Care rules.

Led grass roots efforts to accomplish major change in Residential Care rules to allow for residents requiring

advanced care to remain in residential care if medically stable.

Served as lobbyist for the association, representing both licensed and registered assisted living

communities throughout Indiana.

Served as liaison between communities and State of Indiana for regulator and survey issues, Medicaid issues, fire safety, new administrator license for Residential Care.
