Test Manager - Health Insurance Exchange (HIX) project
The goal of the HIX project is to create consumer-focused, cost-effective, reusable, and sustainable IT components to operate a Health Insurance Exchange and an Integrated Eligibility System, both key elements of Health Care Reform.
Worked collaboratively with the System Integrator vendor to ensure the quality of the HIX software. Oversaw planning, execution, and reporting results of the following types of tests: Functional, Integration, Regression, Performance/Stress, Release Dry Run, and Post Release Validation.
Oversaw and coordinated test execution and provided support to 3 additional independent vendors responsible for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Accessibility Testing, and Security/Vulnerability Testing.
Served as a liaison to the project’s business owners – the Executive Office of Health and Human Services and the Connector Authority – so they understand the status, results, issues, and risks related to the work of the System Integrator and independent test vendors.
