PROJECTS

Fuel Cell UAV, Senior Project

Worked with a team to design a fuel cell powered UAV. Responsible for choosing a suitable airframe and hardware layout. Determined stability, trim, thrust, and launch speeds using airfoil/wing theory, and CFD. Achieved successful flight.

Gearbox Speed Reducer

Deigned 25-horse power speed reducer using contact and bending stress analysis. Developed an efficient iterative design process using MATLAB.

Coffee Cup Heat Transfer

Used MATLAB to develop FEM heat and mass transfer models of cooling styrofoam and ceramic mugs. Verified results experimentally.
