I am Jimmy Rousseau (Roo-so), and I consider myself a Javascript ninja, and confident in my web development skills. This is my passion, and love learning new things every day to help me become even better. I have worked freelance for past 6+ years with a couple of full time development jobs under my belt, and have never run into any functionality I couldn't make happen. Contributed to a web application for schools & teachers, for comparing grades, looking up students, comparing schools, digital forms for teachers and parents (that they could also print), and all around making teacher's/schools job's easier and more efficient. Worked with ColdFusion, MSSQL, and jQuery. Americorps VISTA P alatka, FL February 2008 - January 2010 Position: Web Developer / Volunteer Coordinator

I created and maintained The Heart Of Putnam website, THOP was a volunteer center, that helped the community with food baskets, rent / bills, clothes and more. I created a web application for people to sign-up for volunteer opportunities, as well as let other organizations post their volunteer opportunities. I was also the only tech guy around to help with computer problems. I was also a volunteer coordinator, helping match people based on there likes, and hobbies to volunteer opportunities they would most enjoy.
