vascular diseases, lymphedemas, post sclerotherapy, venous ulcers, DVT, congestive heart failure, etc. Can determine mmHg from physician’s order or solely from PT

presentation.

Knowledge of product for colostomy, ileostomy and/or urostomy based on PT’s stoma size. Can help PT through dermatological problems surrounding stoma.

Aware of many areas of wound care; frequency of

dressing change; many differences in HCPC’s; four stages of pressure (decubitus/sacral) ulcers; use of wound vac; use of CPM; etc.
