I recently graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Bellarmine University and through an ergonomic course developed a passion for injury prevention and conservative management of existing issues. In pursuit of my passions I have continued my education to obtain a CEAS Ergonomic Assessment Certification to become a certified Ergonomist.
I’ve gained strong experience in understanding proper ergonomics in addition to performing ergonomic assessments in many settings. I spent many year employed by Cincinnati Children’s Hospital where I was able to be involved in the treatment and research of injury prevention in the sports and orthopedic realms. While at Bellarmine University much time was spent assessing employees in both the office and industrial settings where I developed much skill and experience in the process of analyzing, reporting and educating individuals on proper workplace technique. Additionally, I’ve obtained a strong orthopedic background through my clinical internships and have much experience treating patients with work related injuries.
I have become very comfortable working autonomously and in management positions. In order to fund my education, I’m currently employed in a management position at a multimillion dollar Starbucks Corporation store. I also manage and operate my own limited liability corporation performing interior painting. I love challenges, problem solving, initiating, and leading others to achieve goals.
