Construction Manager for the New York Power Authority for multiple projects at the Holtville, Astoria, and the Inner City power plants ranging in value of $250,000 to $2 million for each contract. Responsibilities included investigation and oversight for the replacement and testing of generators, high voltage (13KV) cable, MCC's, mechanical equipment and control systems. Provided review of control logic loops and low voltage wiring and coordinated with operations for shut downs to maximize plant efficiency.

The primary project, which was awarded in August 2007, consists of the construction of a $ 40 million Grit and Scum Building (scheduled for completion in 2012) and the daily operation of the NYCDEP 10,000 square foot construction management trailer complex. Responsibilities included oversight of multiple prime contractors, HASP and monthly safety report review, payment processing, design and change order negotiations, and direction to in-house, subcontracted, and municipal construction management staff for conformance to plans and specifications.

Resident Engineer / Site Manager for the site remediation and construction of a 200 million dollar 2500 seat multi building school complex in the Mott Haven section of Bronx, NY for the New York City School Construction Authority. Responsibilities included contractor oversight for conformance to plans and specifications, payment processing, design and change order negotiations, coordination with additional contracts, and liaison to New York State, New York City, Teachers Union, and local community groups.

Assistant Resident Engineer for interim stabilization improvements of a NYC DEP water supply dam in Gilboa, New York. Responsibilities i

ncluded construction oversight for a 60 million dollar multiphase emergency repair of the 85 year old structure while addressing public concerns.

Assistant superintendent for the Great Neck Water Pollution Control District.

Responsibilities included supervision of a unionized labor force and the oversight

of subcontractors for the continuous operation and maintenance of a 3.8 MGD

wastewater treatment plant, 45 miles of gravity sewer and force main piping, and

pump stations. Additional duties included daily interaction with residents, local

industries, utility suppliers and adjacent municipalities to maintain regulatory

compliance.

Project engineer for Nassau County Department of Public Works projects for the waste water treatment facilities, highway and bus maintenance facilities. Responsibilities and evaluation of existing infrastructure, presentation of cost effective rehabilitative options and construction oversight while maintaining operations.

Site Supervisor/Senior Operator for a 10-1/2 acre superfund site in Old Bethpage, New York. Responsibilities included design, construction oversight, and operation and maintenance of 700,000 gallon per day groundwater treatment facility; implementation of a monitoring well program with the Environmental Protection Agency Contract Laboratories Program; oversight and direction of subcontractors for remediation of soils for non hazardous solid waste, asbestos, pcb's, and volatile organics; management of a 2 million dollar annual budget; and reporting to the New York State Department of Conservation, the United States Corp of Engineers, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

Site Health and Safety Officer responsible for compliance with the site Health and Safety Plan and regulatory safety requirements, daily site inspections and safety meetings, and development of corporate safety policies and training procedures.

Participated in the coordination of security, traffic control plans, and health and safety training for United States Golf Association employees and law enforcement personnel at the 2002 US Open in Bethpage NY.

Resident Engineer for the construction, repair, and repaving of sidewalks, curbs and roads for the Town of North Hempstead, and the Villages of Mineola, Williston Park, and Stewart Manor. Responsibilities included surveying, design, field verification of drawings, construction inspection, and approval of contractor payment requests.

Senior Resident Engineer for the closure of a hazardous waste landfill in Port Washington, New York. Responsibilities included direction to inspection and geological staff, oversight of the general contractor and coordination with the municipal labor force and the regulatory agencies involved with the final cap construction, landfill gas recovery system and treatment systems, leachate recovery and treatment systems, and a groundwater investigative program.

Camp, Dresser and McKee, Inc.- February 1990 to July 1994

Resident Engineer for the remediation of an estimated 2.5 million gallon gasoline spill in East Setauket, New York. Responsibilities included the construction and operation of a pilot and final thermal oxidation plant, pilot fluidized bed reactor, pilot and final air stripper system, pilot off-gas bio-filtration system, and pilot and final air sparging system; design and construction of a catalytic oxidizing system and site recharge basins.

Resident Engineer for the construction and operation of a pilot fluidized bed reactor for the Firemen's Training Center in Nassau County, New York. Responsibilities included design, construction, subcontractor oversight and operation of the pilot plant for the final design of a full scale plant.

Resident Engineer for the cap and closure of hazardous waste landfills in Huntington, New York and Barry County, Michigan. Responsibilities included a field re-design of contract drawings, direct contractor oversight, direction of municipal forces, and interaction with the regulatory agencies.

Project Manager/Resident Engineer for an underground storage tank petroleum spill in Lake Grove, New York. Responsibilities included direction of labor force for the monitoring and removal of number two and number six petroleum fuels on a weekly basis; reporting to client and regulatory agencies; and subcontractor payment requests.

Project Manager/Resident Engineer for the remediation of a 5 acre cyanide and copper contaminated site in Syosset, New York. Responsibilities included additional sampling and remedial design based on preliminary analytical results, contractor procurement, remediation oversight, and interaction with the regulatory agencies resulting in the removal of the site from the New York State Hazardous Waste site list.
