To Whom it May Concern,

Allow me to give a short background of myself. After leaving the Marine Corps, I started working in the Construction field both landscaping and excavating. Soon after I opened up my own Garden Center in Howell, NJ, which I operated for approximately 3 years, while still maintaining the Garden Center, my Landscaping and Excavating businesses I began Building single family homes. My first project was a 17 home sub-division in Jackson, NJ, called Harvard West. I was the owner, project manager and supervisor of this development. I was responsible for every facet of the building project. I obtained all the permits, hiring and scheduling of all subcontractors and inspections, ensuring the quality and safety of the job at all times. My job also entailed coordinating with architects, engineers, and zoning processes to ensure the accuracy of the construction. I maintained detailed records, schedules and inspection logs, always being sure to stay abreast of the budget and deadlines. From this development on I’ve gained invaluable knowledge of the Construction trade, covering all aspects, having worked from the ground up on all projects, overseeing the breaking of ground through to the landscaping and finishing designs and sales of each home. Having my real estate license has allowed me to work more closely with new home buyers, I was not only able to help them list their homes, but also see it through to the end, including their “punch list”. Over the last 15 years of building, residential single homes, a development and commercials lots I’ve learned a tremendous amount of experience in the managing of a construction trade and company

In more recent years this knowledge has paid off, as I’ve started doing Commercial Jobs. The latest projects were a 27,000 square foot office building where I was in charge of all the site work, construction of the steal building, and the fit out of the 6,500 square foot of the building. Lastly I worked on the 10,000 square foot Goddard Day Care Center which was delivered in July 2013 on schedule and under budget. For this project I was responsible for the building/structure, I estimated the entire job, scheduled all the trades, over saw all the work on a daily basis, including scheduling all the inspections and making corrections as per the building inspectors, on a commercial level.

In closing, these are just a few of my projects that I’ve been responsible for over my career. Working in Construction, owning and operating my own businesses have given invaluable experience and knowledge of the Construction trade. I feel I would be a perfect fit for your company, as I have experience in every facet you are requiring for a project manager and then some. I look forward to hearing from you, if you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thank you in advance for your time.

Thank you,

Kevin Williams
