Implementing Merck’s new graphical user interface (GUI), Business Data Director (BDD) integrated with the Siperian Customer Master (CM) system. The BDD will support Data Stewardship operations, in real and near-real time, on CM Best of Breed (BoB) records and all source information. The GUI will also support pending operations. With creation of the new GUI, functionality that is currently spread across multiple applications like the CM Pending Tool, CM Search Tool, Siperian Console and SM SOPs will be integrated into a single centralized tool. Additional capabilities will be added such as a User Dashboard, links to the help desk, and LOV viewing. The CM GUI application will replace the various existing data stewardship applications presently used by ICI data stewards.

There was a need for a J2EE based User Interface built for the Data Stewards to manage potential matches, feed exceptions and search customers. This UI was built over Siperian Service Integration Framework (SIF).
Siperian was used as MDM tool and Informatica used for source data extraction.
This was a multi year, multi country rollout program with multiple tracks dealing with the development and maintenance of multiple Master data.
