Senior Program Manager: Ford Clocksprings and Sensors 6/99 to7/2002

Responsible for the overall sales and program management responsibilities for the newly launched Explorer, Expedition, and Navigator clocksprings with advanced position sensors and soon to launch Aviator and F150 Pickups. Found, presented, sold, and managed multimillion dollar turn signal and clockspring program for the new Lincoln LS platform using the APQP process including, PPAPs, DFMEAS, PFMEAS, Control Plans, and 8-Ds. First complete upper column assembly shipped to Ford for Methode.

●Managed launch team in creating and launching a new position sensor from concept to production in less than 11 months.

Project Engineer

Organized and coordinated engineering designs between all cross functional team members and Chrysler for 1998 LH and NS headlight switches.

●Coordinated design and manufacturing of hand made samples utilizing rapid prototyping to create electrically and mechanically functional parts that exceeded the customers expectations.

●Directed weekly open issues meetings with cross functional team creating a prototype design that passed DV testing the first time and reduced assembly time by 20%.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsible for design and coordination of open issues between Ford and engineering staff in Ludenscheid, Germany.

●Successfully launched a temperature control switch in 10 months that is currently used across most Ford platforms.
