Professional Profile
Ten years of experience in unconventional oil and gas industry with overall Twelve years of engineering/research experience. Five years of experience in CBM Reservoir Engineering and application of a compositional reservoir simulator GEM of Computer Modeling Group. I have been working as Senior Reservoir Engineer with Great Eastern Energy Corporation Ltd since January 2015. Previously involved with fracturing and reservoir team as Principal Production Technologist with Halliburton. I have almost one and a half year of experience working as Field Engineer in the Hydropower Division of Jaiprakash Associates Limited. I have an experience working with an R&D Project on Coalbed Methane sponsored by BP Exploration (Alpha) Limited, UK at Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur for a period of one and half year.
I have completed Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mining Engineering from Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur in the year of 2005.

Regression by using SPSS 16/XLSTAT 2009 statistical software. From Sorption Experimental Data, total Gas in Place for a particular coal can be determined at reservoir conditions.

I have worked on a research project titled “Impact of Coal Sorption and Diffusion Properties on Deliverability of Coalbed Methane.”The project was collaboration between BP Exploration (Alpha) Limited, UK and Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur. As a part of this project I have developed Sorption Isotherm experimental facility in the laboratory. I have carried out sorption isotherm testing on several coal samples. Furthermore, I have also done a number of Coalbed Methane Reservoir Simulation exercises using the compositional reservoir simulator GEM of Computer Modeling Group, Canada.

JAL was working in a contract package of Royal Government of Bhutan at Tala Hydroelectric Project Authority. I joined as Trainee (Mining) and soon took the responsibility of the Shift-in-charge. I was working in the Pressure Shaft. The main responsibility included supervision of underground excavation, contact and consolidation drilling &blasting, rock bolting, grouting, concreting, and erection of ferrule in the Pressure Shaft.
