MEDICAL SURGICAL WARD

Orientation of the patient and family to surroundings.

Helping doctors on rounds.

Assist doctors performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures like insertion of central line, nasogastric tube insertion etc.

Prepare the patient for procedures like X-Ray, CT Scan, endoscopy, colonscopy, USG, ECG and surgeries.

Maintaining the records and carrying out the doctors orders.

Unit preparation for receiving the patient undergone surgery.

Monitoring vital parameters and intake output chart, assessment of normal body functions after surgery.

Administration of medicines, injections, blood and blood products, dressing of invasion site etc.
