Medibank currently supports four separate intranet platforms. This model is fragmented and overly complex, delivering a costly, inefficient and a poor user experience. There is a need for a simplified, consolidated platform that enhances the user experience and delivers cost savings to the business.

Details: BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) is Australia’s biggest coal miner and exporter, and the world’s largest supplier to the seaborne coking coal market. Matrikon’ s ProcessMORe system was chosen to provide production accounting for the processing plant, train loading facility and reserve operations. A separate ProcessMORe instance, was set up on the corporate server for each of the seven (7) Coal Preparation Plants (CPP). Connectivity between these illustrations and the corporate historian was achieved by installing ProcessMORe’ s data transaction engine MOReLink and Matrikon’s OPC HDA server software for PHD on the historian server. This combination provided a dependable and robust store and forward data service. ProcessNet trend and NetOffice systems have likewise been used to provide visualization of both historian and ProcessMORe data for ad-hoc analysis.
