• This project involves the development of a new healthcare campus on a multi-acre, Greenfield site.

• The six level hospital approximately 470,500 GSF.

Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. will be responsible for overall project success during the conceptual planning, design, construction, and close-out phases. The project consists of the following:

• New Bed Tower: 6-story patient bed tower, approximately 152,000 gross square feet, including Chapel, Conference, Pharmacy, Public, Administration and Mechanical Spaces, a 20 Bed ICU Unit and two-28 Bed Med/Surg Floors

• Renovations: Renovate approx. 34,000 sqft for Dietary/Food Service, Materials Management and other ancillary support spaces.

• Mechanical: Relocate existing cooling towers to the parking lot North of the Existing Cancer Center.

• Cath Lab: 2 story add on SE corner of hospital. Approx. 36,000 gsf. Level one – 4 cath labs & support space. Level 2 - Future surgery space, Level 3 is mechanical. Renovate 9,200 sf shell space on level 1 for 19 bed Pre-OP/Recovery suite

• Civil Site Improvements: Modify and expand concrete Parking Lot to add approximately 786 spaces. Install storm drainage system for the parking lot, extend existing and future utilities to serve proposed buildings on campus (storm, water and sanitary). Install Lighting system, landscape and irrigation controls.

• New Orthopedic Facility: Located at the corner of Sweetwater Blvd and Highway 59 Northbound Feeder Road. New 3-story building, 75,200 gsf building, will house a state of the art clinic and physical therapy facility, including administration, support space, and collaboration space.

Title: Project Engineer

Expanding and updating the refining facility at Texas City. The project scope is to build a 2 story, concrete, 72,000 sf, “Shelter in Place”, Central Control Building and the expansion of infrastructure of existing facility. These improvements will control all operation of the existing process plant. Construction is conducted with no loss of production or operation of existing plant.

In charge of the technical integrity of the project, adhering to the project scope, specifications and accepted good engineering practices. This includes strict adherence to Jacobs’ and the client's safety and work processes. Successfully lead the team to meet project schedule and overall budget.

Assured safety in design, constructability, and maintainability were kept at the forefront in design development. Responsible for engineering requisitions, including engineering services and equipment. Managed day to day alignment between client expectations and project team execution.

Responsible for project execution planning, organizing all assurances, facilitating project meetings and project reports. Increase productivity of contractor by optimizing the communication and information flow from A/E, Client and Contractor.

Provide the necessary interface with other disciplines, contracts, project controls, HSE, QA/QC and others ensuring smooth execution of the work. Participate in weekly and monthly reviews with the contractors and the client and discuss the work progress.

Title: Area Construction Manager

Expanding and updating a gypsum mining/processing facility, a 10 billion dollar, multi-national facility, housing 28 individual mining process plants, each producing 1 million dollars revenue per day, that extracts phosphate used to produce phosphate fertilizer for over 1/2 of the world, providing 2/3 of the Moroccan economy, considered Jacobs must profitable and successful project, while classified as Jacob’s most difficult project on every level.

Expand the infrastructure of existing facility to accommodate 9 new processing plants,

Increase production to existing facility by increasing delivery system of sea water while expanding and improving the facilities waste product evacuation system and extending the discharge points out to sea 2.5 miles.

Extend 5 miles of 82” CCP pipeline line through the heart of the existing facility to the delivery points for the new factories.

Replace the existing waste disposal system with 8 miles of 82” HPPE pipe in 1800’ joints

Extend three 82” HDPE pipelines 2.5 miles out to sea.

Construct multiple large concrete structures to connect to existing system, divert and control flows, build new concrete reservoir and concrete water storage towers.

The projects will be completed with no loss of production to any of the 15 existing facilities.

Provide support to all 10 addition process facilities projects and a Desalinization Plant.

Supervision of 14 work fronts, 400+ workers, 1,224,800 man hours.
