Vice President of Information Technology & Enterprise Strategy
Nationwide Title Clearing – Palm Harbor, FL 2015 to Present
Appointed to VP position by the CIO and CEO shortly after being hired as a Senior Systems Administrator. Chosen to develop and lead the implementation of the technology vision for the company and serve as the senior consultant to the executive team and Board Members. Direct all aspects of the IT infrastructure and systems with a high level of focus on uptime and disaster recovery, critical to a company that loses thousands of dollars per minute of downtime.
Notable Contributions:
Oversee and mentor the daily operation of a staff of Help Desk Technicians, System Administrators, Network Administrator, and Oracle DBA's located in Florida and Texas.
Created the first-ever IT department budget with full financial administration transferred to me from the CFO. Assumed accountability for department spend of $700K plus $1 Million in capital purchases.
Developed and implemented infrastructure and core switching refresh that improved system reliability and delivered a 98% decrease in down time the first 6 months resulting in $3 Million in saved revenue.
Led the replacement of virtual host servers and storage to double the capabilities of the system and increase core network speed to 10GB. System has experienced 100% uptime since installed.
Increased capacity by operating 100 servers that service 800 on-shore users, 400 off-shore users, and many clients and contractors through our online portals and SAS applications.
Created and launched a brand new backup system that decreased file level restore from hours to just minutes and eliminated a tedious and risky manual data storage process.
Designed and implemented a remote disaster recovery solution utilizing facilities at our Dallas, Texas location to provide complete system protection in the event of a natural or manmade disaster including storage replication, virtual technologies, and enterprise level backup software.

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort – Farmington, PA 2002 to 2015
Promoted to executive leadership and senior technology advisor to the owners. Developed and maintained the technology infrastructure for a 3,000 acre resort with a large main complex and 6 outside locations. Managed the full lifecycle, from strategy and implementation to maintenance of systems including servers, computers, infrastructure, POS, telecom, as well as life safety and security systems such as CATV. Created and administered all aspects of the budget: $500K in new equipment, $500K in annual maintenance, and a $1 Million capital budget. Managed all external vendors, including administration of all contracts.
Notable Contributions:
Supervised the efforts of a team of 15 professionals, including Help Desk Technicians, a POS Administrator, Hardware Technicians, Systems Administrator and Network Administrators for the identification and resolution of technical issues throughout the resort’s network nodes.
Designed and implemented a 300 seat virtual desktop solution to replace conventional PCs.
Led a $1.8MM project to replace the outdated PBX system with a state of the art VOIP alternative with middleware that provided interactive content to guests by using the touch screen display on the phone.
Leveraged SIP technology to reduce telecommunications expenses by $72K per year.
Led engineers and architects to implement SharePoint, the intranet, and the company’s Microsoft Exchange email server. Managed the distribution of information to over 2,000 employees.
Managed an $800K project to upgrade a legacy property management system that could not provide the management features need to effectively run the resort. Implemented and configured a whole new system which required extensive, but ultimately worthwhile, retraining for the end users.

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort – Farmington, PA 1994 to 2002
Led the strategic planning and implementation of a long-term plan to revolutionize the resort’s infrastructure including telecommunications (guest and business), fiber optic capability, entertainment systems, and Life Safety systems. Held accountability for a $200K operating budget.
Notable Contributions:
Conceptualized the solution and led the project to transition the backend server infrastructure from 16 physical servers to three virtual hosts, resulting in $60K in annual savings.
Replaced decades-old legacy connections with modern CAT 5 cabling which enabled fiber optic interconnectivity throughout the resort and revenue centers such as the Food & Beverage and Retail.
Ran a master facility TV head-end for receiving the resort’s CATV signals supporting 60 TV Stations with a complex distribution system to 1,000 sets providing in-room and resort-wide entertainment.
Contributed expertise as Life Safety Technician, managing all life safety systems to ensure the continuous readiness and operability of fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, and fire/security alarms.
Leveraged superior subject matter expertise to coordinate and lead training for all employees on the principles of fire safety, evacuation protocols, and emergency response plans.
Collaborated with the Security and Safety Director to create an official, comprehensive emergency response plan applicable to all resort facilities.
