In my present profile with M/s. Gowthami Bio-energies Pvt Ltd, I am responsible for operation & maintenance of entire plant as Plant Head.
In BGR Energy Systems Ltd I was looking for operation & commissioning of 2x600 MW (2x600MW, PF Boiler & Re-Heat Turbine Make- Dungfang China) as Manager Mechanical-BOP Power Project Division. First unit & Second unit of 600MW has commissioned & synchronized, now in operation, 2nd unit PG test is going on.
In Vandana Vidyut Ltd I was looking after the erection & commissioning job of BOP mechanical of 2x135MW Thermal Power Project.
In A2Z Infraservices Ltd as Project Manager looking after O&M for long distance raw water pumping and delivery system from Hirakud reservoir to Vedanta Aluminium Limited (4X600MW TPP).
In Sanghi Industries Ltd as Dy. Manager (61.33MW TPP) looking after Coal Handling & Ash Handling System, Checking of ESP healthiness. Has successfully completed the commissioning & given charge for operation and Maintenance.
In Desein Indure Group of Companies as Sr. Engineer looking after BOP (AHP) of TPP at various sites. FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Responsible for activities involved during shift and BOP operations including erection, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance.
2. Plan commissioning & shift activities ensuring implementation of safe work practices of various equipments like BOP equipments such as CW pumps, ACW pumps, DM water transformer pumps, DMCW pumps, hotwell makeup pumps, LDO, HFO loading and forwarding pumps, compressor, air dryer, ash handling plant, coal handling plant, feed water pumps, DM plants, etc.
3. Operation & Maintenance of balance of plant such as Preventive maintenance, Breakdown/ Corrective maintenance, Shift maintenance, Major shut down maintenance, Maintenance of valves, Maintenance of piping system.
4. Erection of Ash slurry pumps, HP pumps, LP pumps, Ash slurry line erection, Ash water Line, fabrication of MS pipe lines, CI pipe lines, Cast basalt pipe line, Pipe racks, Towers, Centrifugal horizontally mounted pumps for ash disposal, Turbine type vertical pumps, Compressors, Nash vacuum pumps, Mather and Platt pumps etc. 5. EXPERIENCE IN PIPING: M.S. Piping: From half inch diameter to 42” Pipe fabrication with flange joints. Fabrication of metered bents for various angles as per site requirement. Fabrication of offsets for 22, 30, 45, etc. Fabrication of Unequal offsets, full size tees, reducing tees, Laterals, reducers, concentric, eccentric reducers etc. Cast basalt piping: Fabrication of Basalt bends, Basalt pipes with MS pipes and Cast basalt cylinders at site. Rubber lining piping: Fabrication of MS Pipelines of various diameters with flange joints, fabrication of MS bends erection and dismantling the same, sent them for rubber lining and erecting the same.GI & SS Piping: Fabrication and erection of the above piping for seal water system.CI Piping: 8”and 12” CI Pipe line works executed for disposal of ash slurry up to 6 km. with coupling joints. 6. To plan and allocate work, prepare shift plan, train and develop staff to maintain/service equipment, provide performance feedback in order to achieve plant performance targets through management of staff. 7. M/s. Gowthami Bio-energies Pvt Ltd is located at Gopalapuram, Khammam, is a Bio Mass Power Plant of capacity 6 MW by using biomass as fuel such husk, maize cobs, palm oil bunch fiber, ground nut shells, etc. (Make- Thermax 27 TPH Biomass Fired Boiler & Make-BHEL 6 MW Turbine) EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
(A) Gowthami Bio-energies Pvt Ltd From Feb 2016 to till date. I am working with M/s. Gowthami Bio-energies Pvt Ltd, Khammam as Plant Manager for Bio-mass Plant. Functions & Responsibility:
Responsible for operation & maintenance of plant in all aspects like procurement of materials, fixing and finalizing contracts, attending meetings with customers, preventive maintenance, breakdown/corrective maintenance, shift maintenance, major shutdown maintenance, maintenance of valves, maintenance of piping systems, etc.
(B) BGR Energy Systems Ltd From 8th Dec 2012 to Feb 2016. Worked at M/s BGR Energy Ltd, Kalisindh, Rajasthan as Manager (Mech-BOP) in its 1200MW (Make-DEC PF Boiler 2x2028TPH & Re- Heat Turbine 2x600MW) coal based thermal power plant. Functions & Responsibility:
Responsible for operation & maintenance, commissioning of BOP 2x600MW, preparation of technical documents, specifications of mechanical equipments, providing inputs & technical guidance to engineers and trainees, providing engineering support to other related Departments activities, daily / weekly review meetings, planning, scheduling of job, shift operation schedule, maintenance, implementation of safety rules & PTW at work site.
(C) Vandana Vidyut Ltd. From 15th Sep 2011 to 7th Dec 2012. Worked as a senior level management at 2 x 135 MW TPP as a BOP at Korba, CG. Functions & Responsibility:
Fabrication and erection of all pipelines such as CW, ACW, DM water, DMCW, hotwell, portable water, service water, service air, instrumentation air compressor, ash slurry lines, ash water lines, ash water recovery lines, intake and offtake water, etc.
(D) A2Z Infraservices Ltd From Dec 2010 to 15th Sep 2011 As Project Manager looking after long distance raw water pumping and delivery system from Hirakud reservoir to Vedanta Aluminum Limited(4X600MW TPP)..
Functions & Responsibility:
Operation and Maintenance of complete system such as Preventive maintenance, Breakdown/ Corrective maintenance, Shift maintenance, Major shut down maintenance, Maintenance of valves, Maintenance of piping system.
(E) Sanghi Industries Ltd. From Aug,’09 to Nov 2010 As Dy. Manager (61.33MW TPP) looking after Coal Handling & Ash Handling System, Checking of ESP healthiness. Has successfully completed the commissioning & given charge for operation & Maintenance. Functions & Responsibility:
Maintenance of Crushers, Screens, Belt Conveyers, Diverting gates, etc. for coal plant. Maintenance of dome valves, CB pipelines, Filter bags, Pneumatic Power cylinders, etc. for Ash Conveying system. Checking of distance between collecting Electrodes, rotation of collecting & emitting Hammers, ESP hopper buffer plates, etc.
(F) Desein Indure Group of Companies From Sep 1988 to July 2009. In this time worked at Desein Indure Group out of which 14 years having experience in Engineering, Erection & Commissioning of Ash Handling Plant. I was in charge of Ennore Thermal Power Station for renovation of their Ash Handling Plant including fabrication and erection of cast basalt pipelines up to 7 km for their disposal system and successfully handed over the plant. From 1994 to 1997 worked as a Senior Engineer at BSES Project. The following works executed by me such as -Ash Slurry line erection, Ash water line, fabrication of MS pipe lines, CI Pipelines, Cast basalt pipeline, Piper racks, Towers, erection of Rotary equipments, fabrication and erection of steel structures. 1997 to 1999 worked as Engineer in charge at Sabarmati Thermal Power Station for C 1 project for Ash Handling System. Major responsibilities are Coordinating with clients/suppliers/sub contractor’s procurement of materials, raising R.A. bills follow up for payments and other major responsibility of the projects. 1999 to 2009 worked as Senior Engineer in charge at Wanakbori Thermal Power Station (7x210 MW).
