Brief description of myself Goals and Ambition:
After attending University in 1994, I became interested in the environment and its legal protection. An example of this is working voluntarily with Bolton Conservation trust on planting projects and aquatic animal protection.
I am exploring voluntary organizations in Atlanta with the same aim.
As below my most recent experience of work is in the legal profession and I would like to expand my experience and knowledge further.
Strengths and skills.
Written and oral Communication.
My written communication and knowledge of vocabulary is of a high standard.
Obtaining A grade in English Language in High School.
I have written letters to both members of the public and senior members of the organizations I have worked for.
Attention to detail:
When communicating internally and externally. I ensure that details are correct.
An example of this is the letters I used to write under section 9 of UK law.
This is when a person does not attend court on a summons rather that a charge.
The letter is proof that the person is aware of the court proceedings against them.
If they do not attend after that. The case proceeds in their absence.
By correctly undertaking this process, I saved the CPS and the courts costly extra hearings.

I started Spanish lesson in the UK with the Institute Cervantes in Manchester, reaching level 2. I intend to pursue further in the United States.
Work Experience:

Checking files were trial ready, if Not Guilty plea was entered at first hearing.
I checked files thoroughly to give the best chance of an early guilty plea. This avoided costly trials and also benefited the defendant, who was given a discount on their sentence and reduced costs to pay,
