Career Expertise & Selected Achievements

Worked with local businesses to create marketing materials with the objective to keep costs at or below budget. Reproduced a multi-color brochure using a smaller color pallet and reduce their cost per piece. The piece came in at half the cost and still had the look and quality of the multi-color their previous agency had done. I retained them as a client for over three years.

Donated my services to The Second Company Governor’s Foot Guard (A Connecticut Historic Military Group) to produce a brochure explaining their history. Photographed a set of armory keys, these were the same armory keys that Benedict Arnold, (who was Commander of the Foot Guard prior to the Revolutionary War) demanded from the city of New Haven so that he and a detachment of guard members could arm themselves. They then proceeded to Lexington, Massachusetts where they became the first official colonial military organization to declare war on the British. I considered it an honor to produce the brochure.

Directed and produced a retail TV commercial for client in a unique market niche. The commercial was a success creating over a 30% increase in business during its time on the air. The client received a letter of gratitude from the NAACP for using local African American talent.

Created and produced a language map of Alaska (Indians and Eskimos). The client received a letter of gratitude from the Department of Indian Affairs. Additionally, copies of the map were placed in the Library of Congress and the Royal Library in London.

Created and produced a Sport Coaches Instructional web site with an extensive data base back end that was designed to keep and maintain Youth Sport Organization’s coaching staff as well as independent coach’s records. Provided coaches the opportunity to take instructional courses to achieve coaching credits to advance their careers.

At Westbrook Technologies, I led a project to design and create their first full corporate identity. This included creating their corporate logo, company design guide lines, marketing materials and web site. Redesigned their corporate identity and materials four times for four different CEOs. Consistently made them appear much larger (on average 10X larger) than they were.

Donated personal time and professional services over a period of 10 years to produce brochures, marketing materials and a web site for the Oakwood Soccer Club in Connecticut. This also involved creating League and Summer Camp Brochures, Tournament Logos, took all Photographs for these materials. This enhanced their presence while saving them tens of thousands of dollars. Only payment that was received was membership to play in their adult leagues.
